It is conceived as a prototype for a residential development project in Windham, New York, a town known and celebrated for its rural feel and its year-round recreational offerings such as skiing, hiking, fishing.

 The design of the building employs prefabricated and modular aspects of fabrication to minimize disturbance of the site during construction. A compact footprint and the selection of sustainable materials and natural finishes help to reduce its environmental impact.
